DC Generators Power Co Ltd – Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with DC Generators Power Co Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “AutoGen”).
We take pride in the quality of our products and aim for complete customer satisfaction.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.
- Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
- Proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is required.
Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned, refunded, including:
- Custom-built, calibrated, or made-to-order electronic controllers.
- Generators, alternators and rectifier blocks.
- Downloadable software, firmware, or digital licenses.
- Items marked Final Sale.
2. Return Procedure
- Email sales@dcautogen.com with your order number, product details, and reason for return.
- Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and shipping instructions.
- Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- 19% VAT is charged on items returned from non-EU countries.
3. Inspection & Approval
- Once we receive your return, it will be inspected within 5 business days.
- We will notify you by email whether your refund or replacement has been approved.
- Items showing signs of installation, modification, or misuse will not qualify for a refund.
4. Refunds
- If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, 19% VAT is deducted when items arrive from non-EU countries.
- If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping and 19% VAT may be deducted from your refund.
5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
To request an exchange, contact sales@dcautogen.com with photos and a description of the defect.
6. Warranty Claims
Most AutoGen controllers and components include a limited 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Warranty claims must include:
- Proof of purchase,
- Serial number, and
- Description of the fault.
We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion.
7. Shipping Errors or Damaged Items
If you receive a product that is incorrect, missing, or damaged in transit:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Keep all packaging materials for inspection or return shipment.
